Quarter Water: Behind the Scenes

Quarter Water

A few weeks ago I had the incredible opportunity, and honor, of modeling some pieces from the Quarter Water brand collection. Normally a men's brand, the pieces are so versatile and flattering that I believe anyone can wear them. Owner and creator Andrew Adams began his career as a graphic designer. He then translated his incredible aesthetic into wearable art. The photo-shoot took place in Brooklyn, NY, at Pat Bombard, the photographer's, apartment. Although the finished photos have not been released, I could not stand to keep the behind the scenes photos from you guys any longer! Most of the behind the scenes shots were taken by Regine David (an incredible photographer herself) whom assisted Pat in this particular shoot. My makeup was done by the amazingly beautiful and extremely talented Katherine Taylor, and styling was done by Andrew Adams, Ariel Cespedes, and Anthony Adams. Not only did I have the honor of modeling, I also had the opportunity to snap some photos myself. The below photos (except the ones featuring myself) are some that I took of the Quarter Water crew and I am lucky enough to call them new friends. This particular weekend was hands-down one of the greatest weekends of my life and I can't wait to see what we're all going to do next. Cheers.

Pat Bombard

 **Photos property of Pat Bombard

The featured photographs are the products of an extraordinarily talented individual. Originally hailing from upstate NY and now located in both Savannah, GA and NYC, Pat Bombard is a force to reckon with. He's taken photos of countless individuals, showcasing extremely beautiful lighting techniques as well as a focus on line and shape. Mainly a fashion and editorial photographer, Bombard also participates in several social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. His Instagram account, however, takes definite notice as it showcases a different side of his work that is raw, political, and that comments on the modern day relationship between an individual, society and technology. The above photographs are some of his most recent works; they feature a multitude of incredible talent including Melanie Blankenship, Mac Miller, Riff Raff, John Fredrickson, and Hans K. I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that the world will be seeing much, much more of Pat Bombard.

House of Gold

Last night I had the most wonderful time with this gorgeous little bomb shell, Megan Lyon. Not only is she beautiful, she exudes positivity and kindness.. two seemingly lacking traits in today's society. Wearing a beautiful gold gown hailing from the 1920s and red glittery lips, my job behind the lens was extremely easy. I hope that as many people as possible get the chance to meet her; it's kindness, intelligence, beauty, and positivity like hers that help make each day a little more enjoyable.

Pinkies Up

 {Romper: Goodwill}
{Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell}

These past few weeks have been extremely busy and I cannot wait to showcase the work that I, and a few others, have been working on. The anticipation is killing me, however, don't want to post something before "its time." Anyways, today I felt the urge to dress nicely and actually put on makeup, so I decided to take a few photos. I haven't bought "new" clothing in over a year due to the fact that I am able to find secondhand gems such as this romper. This thing is debatably the best $7 I've ever spent and if anyone ever wants to go thrifting, **hit me up.** Usually, I personally dislike wearing bright colors, however, if I could bathe in this thing... I probably would. Opa.
