Freedom Vs. Restraint

Freedom and Restraint; two seemingly opposite terms that, quite frankly, act as a team. As humans, we long for freedom; the freedom to live, the freedom to create, and the freedom to ignore. However, when given "too much" freedom, it seems as though we humans are at a loss. When possibilities are endless, are we ironically bombarding ourselves with emptiness and a lack of enthusiasm for any particular task? This is not to say that freedom is not an incredible liberty, however, it seems a paradox of life that in order for humans to remain balanced and productive, humans must attain some amount of order. As much as one may deny the importance of restrictions and restraints, humans subconsciously crave and even enjoy restrictions. Like a good cliche always said, "You can't have too much of a good thing."
